Hero MotoCorp Expands Sales And Service Network For Harley-Davidson In India

- Harley-Davidson now has 14 dealerships and 7 service centres
- Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson entered into a partnership last year
- Harley-Davidson India's next launch is the Sportster S cruiser
Hero MotoCorp announced that the company has expanded the sales and service touch points for Harley-Davidson in India. The American bike maker partnered with Hero MotoCorp last year to continue its operations in India, and the Indian two-wheeler giant is responsible for setting up the sales and service network for Harley-Davidson in this new innings. Under the fresh announcement, Hero has now expanded the network with 14 full-fledged dealerships and seven authorised service centres across the country. These units will be exclusive to Harley-Davidson customers.
Ravi Avalur, Head - Premium Segment Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp said, “The Pan America 1250 is one of the most anticipated motorcycles of 2021. Considering it is Harley-Davidson's first foray into the adventure-touring segment, the Pan AmericaTM motorcycle has already generated immense excitement among customers. With the first shipment being completely sold out, it is truly heartwarming to see how the market has responded to the product. With the Harley-Davidson India dealer network now fully operational, our next objective is to resume the H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) events. We are gearing up for the next annual Rally to be held in Goa between February 3-5, 2022."

In addition to the network expansion announcement, Harley-Davidson India has also confirmed that its next launch in the country will be the Sportster S that will arrive towards the end of the year. Bookings for the motorcycle along with the 13 existing models are currently open. W
More recently, Harley-Davidson recently launched the Pan America 1250 in the country, its first-ever adventure tourer. The motorcycle not only is the storied brand's boldest offering yet but also packs a host of features including a semi-active suspension set-up, adaptive ride height, cornering ABS, corner-enhanced traction control and more. Power comes from the 1250 cc Revolution Max V-Twin motor with 148 bhp on offer. The Pan America 1250 is priced from Rs. 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and takes on the top-of-the-line adventure tourers on sale including the BMW R 1250 GS, and the Ducati Multistrada V4.
