High-End Safety Cars Used By Indian Prime Ministers

Indian Prime Ministers in the past often chose the car they most travelled in either for its brand value or because they were personal favourites. Nehru rode around in a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith, gifted to him by Lord Mountabatten, while Indira Gandhi preferred big American cars like Chevrolet Impala and a Buick. Rajeev Gandhi preferred fast cars including a Maruti 1000. But leaders in the 80s and upto mid 90s often favoured the Hindustan Ambassador for official events. It represented the country´s indigenous manufacturing abilities, after all. But none of these cars were taken on for their safety factor.
However, due to increasing security concerns over the past 3 decades, Indian Prime Ministers expanded their repertoire of cars to add more armoured and bullet-proof cars in the mix. These cars are fast, strong and bulked-up to keep the nation's leaders safe, and have incomparable class. Checkout this list.
