Checking the Status of Your Car Pollution Certificate Online
One of the best steps taken by the government to ease this process is launching a dedicated online portal for procuring PUC. You can visit the Parivahan Seva website to complete the process for the PUC certificate. This website also enables you to check the validity and status of your car pollution certificate.
Below, you can find information on how to access your PUC online on Parivahan Seva:
- Step 1: Go to the Parivahan Seva website and look for the PUC certificate menu.
- Step 2: The page requires you to enter the last five numbers of your car's chassis number and registration number. Once you successfully fill this information and submit it, you'll be able to view all data.
Likewise, you can also head over to the application status section on the same website to check the status of your PUC.

The good news is that once you apply for a car pollution certificate online and it is ready, you can directly download it from the website. This new portal has a feature whereby you can access and download the PUC certificate.
Here are the steps to access and download your PUC certificate through the government portal:
- Step 1: Head to the Parivahan Seva portal and go to the ‘PUC Certificate' section.
- Step 2: In this step, you have to provide the required credentials to procure the certificate. Once you fill in the information and submit it, the portal will redirect you to a new page. This page will contain the downloadable digital copy of your PUC certificate.
