Lamborghini Temerario Tricolore Revealed

Commemorating 20 years of its Ad Personam car personalisation program, Lamborghini has unveiled its second-ever Tricolore special edition after the original Gallardo Tricolore. The new Temerario Tricolore retains the full-length racing stripe in Italian national flag colours, paired with a unique tri-tone exterior paint finish.

Unlike the original Gallardo Tricolore’s offset stripe and clean white paint finish, the new Temerario Tricolore features a wider, centrally set tripe running the length of its hood. The stripe accents a tri-tone paint finish, combining a Blu Marinus Shiny finish on the lower half of the car with a Bianco Monocerus-finished upper body and a Glossy Nero Noctis finish on the roof, mirrors, wheels, and engine cover. Lamborghini says that the new paint scheme helps highlight the Temerario’s sharp looks and striking body lines.

Inside, the cabin features the use of Nero Ade upholstery paired with Rosso Alala contrast stitching. The seats feature unique overlapping hexagonal patterned stitching along with Tricolore badging mirroring the exterior colour of the vehicle. The rear bulkhead also features a bespoke silhouette of the car incorporated into the trim.

Mechanically, Lamborghini has made no changes to the Tricolore over the standard Temerario. It retains the twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 behind the passenger cabin paired with three electric motors to develop a combined 907 bhp. The V8 itself revs up to 10,000 rpm, developing a peak 789 bhp and 730 Nm. Two of the three electric motors are positioned on the front axle - one at each wheel - while the third is integrated into the gearbox. The electric motors draw power from a 3.8 kW hour battery pack mounted in the central tunnel.

As for production, Lamborghini has stated that the new Tricolore is ‘an exclusive configuration’, meaning it will be one-of-one.
