Hyundai Announces Price Hike Of Upto Rs. 50,000; New Creta Facelift Unaffected

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. announced a price increase up to 2 per cent. The newly launched Creta Facelift, however, will not be affected by this revision in price by the company. The cost of the rest of the vehicles in the company's line up will go up by 2 per cent from June 2018, which is also a great incentive for the customers to buy cars before the prices go up.

Commenting on the price increase, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Director - Sales & Marketing, HMIL said, " We have been absorbing the increase in input costs with increase in commodity prices, freight increase with hike in fuel prices and also the increase in custom duties of certain components. We are now constrained to pass the same to customers in our products with increase up to 2% from June 2018."

The Hyundai Creta comes loaded with features and is unaffected by this price hike
Hyundai had earlier increased the prices of its cars by 2 per cent in January this year already. In fact in September 2017 when the GST cess was revised, Hyundai India protected the price of the newly-launched Verna for the first 20,000 customers and did not pass on the hike to its customers till the beginning of 2018. The newly launched Creta facelift, comes loaded with features and offers customers new offerings like electric Sunroof, cruise control and more.
