Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Variants Explained In Detail

The much-anticipated Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has officially gone on sale in India priced at Rs. 4.99 lakh to Rs. 7.99 lakh(ex-showroom India). The new-gen model will be sold in India alongside previous-gen existing Hyundai Grand i10, and like the old model, the Grand i10 Nios too comes in four key variants - Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta. These four variants are further classified into 10 different iterations based on the engine, transmission options, and dual-tone colour. Here we give you a detailed variant-wise classification of the features offered with the 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios - Era:
The base variant Era of the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is much more equipped than the regular Grand i10. In terms of features, the car gets silver surrounds on the radiator grille, body-coloured bumper, halogen headlamps, and 14-inch steel wheels. The cabin of the Era trim comes with dual-tone grey-black interior, front and back door map pockets, and front room lamp. Other features include - electric power steering, manual AC, front power windows, a front power outlet, and a battery saver. The car also gets an informative instrument console that comes with a gear shift indicator, door ajar warning, distance to empty, service reminder and more.

In terms of safety features, the car gets engine immobiliser, emergency stop signal, rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, driver and passenger seat belt pretensioners and load limiter, ABS with EBD, driver & passenger seat belt reminder and speed alert system.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios - Magna:

The Magna trim of the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets a glossy black grille with hyper silver surrounds, LED daytime running lamps, 14-inch steel wheels covers, body-coloured mirrors and door handles, roof antenna, and turn indicators on outside mirrors (AMT trim). The cabin, on the other hand, passenger-side-seat back pocket, 2-DIN integrated audio with AM/FM, Bluetooth connectivity, steering-mounted controls for Bluetooth and Audio, iBlue (Audio Remote Application), front & rear speakers, and USB port connectivity. Other features include - Keyless Entry, tilt-adjustable steering, rear AC vents, rear power windows, Auto down power window (driver only), electrically adjustable and folding ORVMs, a rear power outlet, front USB charger, Driver Seat Height Adjustment, Passenger Vanity Mirror, and Rear Parcel Tray. Safety bits include the addition of a central locking system, day & night inside rearview mirror, headlamp escort system, speed sensing auto door lock, and impact sensing auto door unlock.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios - Sportz:

The Sportz trim of the Grand i10 Nios comes with projector headlamps in the AMT and dual-tone option, 14-inch gunmetal finish alloys (MT & AMT) or 15 diamond-cut alloys (dual tone variant), roof rails, shark fin antenna, B pillar and window line blackout tape, and turn indicators on outside mirrors. The cabin gets the option of all-black interiors with colour inserts and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with the dual-tone variant, and a 5.2-inch digital speedometer with a multi-information display. The Sportz variant also gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Arkamys sound system, and voice recognition function on the steering wheel. Hyundai also offers a wireless phone charger with the dual-tone option, in addition to fully automatic climate control, Eco coating, electrically folding ORVMs, and a cooled glovebox. On the safety front, the Grand i10 Nios Sportz trim sees the addition of projector foglamps, rear camera with display on audio, rear defogger.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios - Asta:

The top-end Asta variant comes with features like projector headlamps and 15-inch diamond-cut alloys as standard, along with chrome outside door handles and rear chrome garnish. The cabin gets leather-wrapped steering as standard and chrome finish for parking lever tip. The car also gets wireless phone charger, SmartKey with push-button start/stop, adjustable rear headrests, rear wiper washer, and luggage lamp.
