Hyundai, the South Korean carmaker, is all set to launch its new Blue Link smartwatch app at the 'Consumer Electronics Show 2015' that is scheduled to begin on January 6 in Las Vegas. The company partnered with Station Digital Media to develop this app.

The new app will allow Hyundai car owners to remotely start, lock/unlock and find their car in crowded parking lot. And all of it can be done with a simple tap of the screen.

"This new app expands Hyundai's exploration into how wearable technology and Blue Link fit into a customer's lifestyle," Said, Barry Ratzlaff from Hyundai Motor America.

The app will also enable users to remote flash the lights, call for roadside assistance and honk the horn. A user can push the microphone icon on the smartwatch app to activate voice functions that will help him execute verbal commands such as "start my car", "lock my car", or "find my car".

The smartwatch app can be downloaded from the Google Play store after it is officially launched.
