Jeep Launches Anniversary Edition Compass To Celebrate 5th Year In India

- The special edition model commemorated the 5th anniversary of the Compass.

Jeep India has announced the launch of a special Anniversary Edition Jeep Compass SUV to celebrate completing five years in India. The company began its local operations in 2016 with the launch of the Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, which came to as CBU (completely built unit) models, however Jeep officially started making cars in India in 2017 with the Compass. To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Jeep Compass SUV, the carmaker has introduced this special edition model. The new Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition is positioned below the top-spec Model S trim and is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options, priced between Rs. 24.44 lakh and Rs. 28.24 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary Edition comes sporting a handful of new and exclusive features that set it apart from the regular Compass.

The cabin comes with new leather seats with light tungsten accent stitching.
The new special-edition model of the Jeep Compass SUV comes with a handful of new and exclusive features that differentiate it from the regular Compass. This includes the 5th Anniversary commemorative badge, which can be seen on the tailgate of the SUV. It also comes with a set of 18-inch alloy wheels with Granite Crystal finish, a new gloss black grille with neutral grey ring, body colour/satin granite crystal lower front fascia with body colour fender flares, and neutral gray accent badging on the ORVMs. Inside, the car comes with leather seats with light tungsten accent stitching, auto dimming rearview interior mirror, piano black and anodised gun metal interior accents, and black headliner.
The Jeep Compass 5th Anniversary edition model is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. While the former gets the 1.4-litre Multiair petrol, mated to the 7-speed DDCT automatic, the diesel model gets the 2.0-litre Multijet engine with the option of either a 6-speed manual unit in 4X2 configuration or the top-of-the-line 4X4 configuration with the 9-speed autobox with Selc-Terrain.
