Mahindra Shares More Details About Upcoming Born Electric Vision EVs In New Teaser

Mahindra & Mahindra is all set globally to unveil its new generation of electric vehicles on August 15, 2022, in Oxfordshire UK. The EVs are part of the company's Born Electric Vision (BEV) programme, under which Mahindra plans to showcase up to five electric vehicles. In fact, the company teased all five concept vehicles in July 2022. Now, as we are getting closer to the global debut date, the carmaker has shared the second teaser revealing a bunch of new information.

Mahindra claims that the vehicles will offer multi-sensory experiences to the occupants.
As per the teaser, the BEV vehicles will come with advanced connectivity features, which will allow you to control a host of in-car functions like - seat adjustment, climate control, music preference settings, and ambient lighting among others. The EVs are expected to come with dual or multi-zone auto climate control. Mahindra claims that the vehicles will offer multi-sensory experiences to the occupants.
At the moment Mahindra has not shared more details about the upcoming electric vehicles, however, based on the teaser, we can safely assume that all the concept vehicles will be SUVs or Coupe SUVs. This will include a couple of sporty compact SUVs, a coupe SUV, a proper mid-size SUV, and one with a fastback-like design. Mahindra has confirmed that it plans to have a 5 electric SUV strong line-up by 2027 including four 'born electric' models. One of them is likely to preview the company's upcoming XUV400 EV, which is slated to make its debut in September 2022.

Mahindra is gearing up for a strong EV offensive which will see the company introduce 8 electric SUVs through the better part of this decade. These will include four all-new electric vehicles (BEV series) while the remaining four EVs will be electrified versions of existing SUV models.
