McLaren’s First Indian Dealership To Open In October 2022

Supercar manufacturer McLaren is set to formally open its first Indian dealership in October this year. The carmaker had last year confirmed its entry into the Indian market along with announcing prices for its range for India. The company had also announced that it had partnered with the Mumbai-based Infinity Group to open its dealerships in the country. Now a little over a year later, the first dealership will open its doors in Mumbai. India is McLaren’s 41st global market where it has commenced sales operations.
While the company announced the formal opening of its India dealership for later this year, Infinity Cars has already delivered some McLarens in India including one to Actor Kartik Aaryan. Aaryan received the car as a gift from movie producer Bhushan Kumar for the success of Bhool Bhulaiya 2.
“We welcome Lalit Choudary of McLaren Mumbai to the expanding retailer network here in the Asia Pacific region. India remains an important market where our fans and select clientele can enjoy the best of McLaren in Mumbai. Looking ahead, we will shortly welcome the Artura to India, the all-new high-performance hybrid supercar,” said Paul Harris, Managing Director – APAC and China, McLaren Automotive.

McLaren had revealed prices for a majority of its range for India in June last year. Among the models confirmed had been the Artura hybrid though the company at the time had not revealed prices.
As a globally renowned supercar manufacturer, McLaren is the pinnacle of modern supercar luxury. We look forward to opening the McLaren Mumbai retail experience centre and offering McLaren customers an outstanding opportunity to engage with the brand and to be part of the McLaren owners’ community,” said, Lalit Choudary, MD, Infinity Cars Pvt Ltd.
The new McLaren dealership is set to open in Mumbai’s Prabhadevi where the Infinity Group already operates a Lamborghini showroom with aftersales service to be managed by a centre located in Turbhe.
The McLaren range for India also includes the McLaren GT, 720S Coupe and the 720S Spider.
