Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet Spy Shots Seen

- The AMG C63 Cabriolet shares its engine with the C63 sedan
- It is a 4.0-litre V8 engine that produces 469bhp
- Top speed is 250kmph, 0-100kmph takes 4.1 seconds
Yes that's right! One of the most mental sedans in the world just got spied with its top down. What you see here is a AMG C63 in a cabriolet avatar. Just to refresh your memory, the AMG C63 gets a 4.0-litre V8 engine that churns out a massive 469bhp and does the 0-100kmph run in barely 4.1 seconds. Now imagine doing that in a cabriolet! Sounds crazy right? In case you are interested then the AMG C63 Cabriolet does a maximum of 250kmph. But all of these figures are for the AMG C63 . If 469 horses are not enough for you then, you can also opt for the AMG C63 S model. The power figure is bumped up to 503bhp and the acceleration from standstill to 100kmph takes 4 seconds. The maximum speed also goes up to 280kmph. The engine will be mated to an AMG SpeedShift MCT 7-speed transmission unit.
(Mercedes-AMG C63 Cabriolet rear spy shot)The design will be the similar, if not same as the AMG C63 sedan. Being a Mercedes-Benz, one can assume that the interiors will be luxuriously appointed. The soft top is said to be raised or lowered in 20 seconds flat and at speeds of up to 50kmph. Also, the AMG C63 Cabriolet will get some really cool optional features such as the AIRCAP and the AIRSCARF system. The AIRCAP system will be integrated into the frame of the roof and is coupled to an electric wind blocker behind the rear seats. The AIRSCARF system provides a ring of warm air which makes for comfortable open-top driving even in lower temperatures. The AMG C63 Cabriolet will be launched towards the end of the year internationally and we might see it coming to India sometime in the next year.
