A new teaser image of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQC electric crossover has been released online. Slated to be unveiled on the September 4, the latest teaser image of the EQC gives us a glimpse of the electric crossover's rear section, which features sleek and stylish taillamps that stretches from taillight to taillight, creating a single unit design. Right below we have Mercedes' three-star logo and we also get to see the curvy silhouette of Mercedes's first fully electric vehicle. The EQC is the first model to come from Mercedes-Benz's electric arm, EQ.
This is not the first Mercedes-Benz EQC teaser to come out before the big unveil. A few of days ago, the carmaker teased the electric crossover's front design details, revealing the bold hook-shaped LED daytime running lamps and a portion of the front grille with also come with a strip of LED DRLs on top, which again helps to create that single unit impression.

The Mercedes-Benz EQC will be the first fully-electric car from the Stuttgart-based carmaker

The new Mercedes-Benz EQC crossover will be based on the EQ Concept car that was showcased early this year in India at the 2018 Indian Auto Expo. The production model has been undergoing extensive testing in Europe and based on those, we know the crossover will come with a black multi-slat grille, with a pair of sleek headlamps on either end. The electric vehicle will also come with black cladding for the wheel arches and a set of fat multi-spoke alloy wheels, and sleek-looking black outside rear-view mirrors with integrated turn signal lights.
Based on a couple of cabin spy shots, the EQC is expected to get a new steering wheel and fully-digital displays, similar to the ones in the A-Class, for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. The centre console looks a bit similar to the one in the 2019 GLC, which comes with a new multi-function touchpad with handwriting recognition. The technical specs are as of now unknown, but the new Mercedes-Benz EQC is expected to get a 70 kWh Lithium-ion battery which is likely to churn out more than 400 bhp and a range of around 500km.
