Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV Interior Revealed Ahead of October 2022 Debut

- EQE SUV debut on August 16, 2022
- Cabin design unchanged from the EQE sedan
- Will also be underpinned by Mercedes' dedicated EVA2 electric vehicle platform
Mercedes has revealed the interior of the all-new EQE SUV ahead of its debut on October 16, 2022. The images of the interior reveal that little has changed from the EQE sedan with the massive MBUX Hyperscreen and dashboard design carried over unchanged from the sedan.
The MBUX Hyperscreen remains an option as on the EQE sedan with contour ambient lighting featuring prominently in the cabin. The wood décor on the high-set centre console gets Mercedes Star inserts – an element shared with the EQS sedan. Expect all the features from the sedan to be carried over with the EQE SUV expected to offer improved rear seat space owing to its taller roofline.
Basic cabin design is the same as the EQE sedan though Mercedes says the SUV's cabin is finished in a blend of warm and cool colour tones.

Mercedes says that it will be offering five colour combinations for the interior, each mixing warm and cool colour themes.
While the exterior design remains under wraps expect it to feature many of the design themes from the new EQS SUV that made its debut earlier in the year mixed in with elements from the EQE sedan.
Expect all the bells and whistles from the EQE sedan to be carried forward; a taller roofline should improve rear-seat headroom
As with the sedan, the new EQE SUV will sit on Mercedes’ purpose-built EVA2 electric vehicle architecture also used by the EQS siblings. Expect the SUV to also be available with a choice of powertrain options including two and all-wheel drive.
