Mercedes-Benz Expands Dealer Network With Fourth Outlet in Tamil Nadu
Mercedes-Benz India has clearly been on the move this year and not only on the product front but also expanding its footprint in India. The German car maker recently inaugurated their fourth outlet in Tamil Nadu in the city of Madurai.
Called Sundaram Motors, the dealership was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, and Sharath Vijayaraghavan, Executive Director, Sundaram Motors.
This is the fifth dealership in India inaugurated by Mercedes-Benz in under a month and their 14th this year. Mercedes-Benz now has a total of 68 showrooms in 37 cities across the country. Looking at the expansion, it is clear that the company is gearing up for bigger launches in the future.
The dealership is located at South Veli Street, Madurai and is spread across a sprawling 10,000 sq.ft. area. Managed by a team of 21 experienced personnel, the facility offers its patrons a luxurious customer lounge, plush Cafe Mercedes along with five cars on display.
Speaking on this occasion, Eberhard Kern said, "Sundaram Motors has been associated with the brand for over a decade and are committed to the brand's pledge of creating unparalleled luxury experience for our discerning customers. In our endeavour to reach closer to our customers both in metros as well in tier II and III cities, our dealer partners play a very important role, by investing in facilities like these. We are confident that Sundaram Motors will create more value for our ever increasing customer base in Madurai and adjoining markets."
