New Bajaj Pulsar SS200 Might Be Launched in Festive Season

Bajaj Pulsar SS200 is definitely one of the most awaited bikes of the year. What makes it a really special vehicle is the fact that it will be Bajaj's first fully-faired motorcycle in India. Now that the vehicle has been spotted several times during its test runs, we expect it to be rolled out during the upcoming festive season that is considered to be the best time to roll out a new product in India.
Since the Pulsar Super Sport is based on its naked sibling, the Pulsar NS200, it will feature the same 199.5cc engine that churns out 23bhp of maximum power and 18Nm of torque. Talking about the bike's design, it will sport a tank similar to that of the NS200. The fairing will feature twin projector head-lamps in different design, clip-on handlebar, a small side slung exhaust, spilt seat design, and NS200-inspired plastic splatter guard.
During an interview with NDTV, last month, Mr Rajiv Bajaj said, "We refreshed the entire (Pulsar) range, but people expect us to do more than refresh, so we must. We will have three launches over the next six months including that of what we like to call the super sport Pulsar, the full-faired one."
In May, this year, Bajaj had also introduced the Pulsar 150, 180 and 200 in three colour schemes including pearl metallic white, sapphire blue and cocktail wine red. The NS200 already has these colours on offer.
