- Kia Carens Clavis EV is set to launch on July 15
- JSW MG Motor will launch 2 cars this month
- BMW will give the 2GC a mid-life update
We're officially in the second half of the year 2025. Like every year carmakers have lined up a slew of launches in July this time as well which only means the consumers will have a lot more to choose from across many segments. Here are the 4 cars that will be launched in July and the list includes everything from MPVs to Sedans to Sportscars.
Kia Carens Clavis EV
Barely a couple of months after launching the Carens MPV in a new avatar, Korean carmaker is set to launch an electric version of the Clavis this month. After the EV6 and EV9 this will be the third electric offering from Kia in India and will also be the most affordable of the lot. In fact it will be the first mass market 7-seater EV in India and will be launched in July 15.

The Carens Clavis EV will get subtle design changes when compared to its Petrol and Diesel siblings. According to a new teaser, the MPV has a charging port on the face along with active air flaps on the central air dam at the base of the bumper. It also gets different looking alloy wheels. The cabin is largely expected to remain similar with twin 12.5 inch displays, ventilated front seats, air purifier and a dashcam. The Clavis EV could share powertrain options with the Hyundai Creta EV which has 2 battery pack options and a claimed range of up to 473 kms.
MG M9
Another electric MPV that will hit the Indian roads this month but at the luxury end of the segment is the MG M9. We got our first brush with this over 5 meter long MPV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year and now JSW MG Motor India is set to launch it in the Indian market. The M9 will be retailed through the recently opened premium MG Select outlets.

The MG M9 is essentially a rebadged version of the Maxus MIFA 9 MPV that is on sale in global markets. It sports a boxy silhouette, flat roofline, and a tall glasshouse and gets thin DRLs, connected tail lamps and electric sliding rear doors. The cabin gets a freestanding 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 7.0-inch digital cluster while the second row has captain seats with massage functions. A 90 kWh battery promises a claimed range of up to 430 kms.
MG Cyberster
MG is likely to launch not one but two cars in the month of July. Apart from the M9 luxury MPV, the brand will also bring its electric roadster, the Cyberster to our shores this month. Bookings for the car have already begun and like the M9 even this one will be retailed through the MG Select outlets.
The Cyberster has 3 screens in the cabin - a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment display, and a 7-inch screen to the driver's left. Electric scissor doors and a folding soft-top roof are some of the big highlights on the car. It will be offered in a dual-motor version with a maximum power of 503 bhp and peak torque of 725 Nm. Ir does 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds while a 77 kWh battery pack promises a range of up to 580 km on a single charge.
BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe
German luxury carmaker BMW is set to launch a mid-life facelift of its most affordable sedan, the 2 series in the market this month. Like earlier the car comes in a Gran Coupe version but with a long list of changes both inside and outside. This includes a fresh design, new in-cabin features and added tech.
The headlamps and tail lamps are both redesigned, while the new kidney grille takes inspiration from the new M2 Coupe. The updated model will also get new alloy wheels and could also come with new colour options. Inside the 2GC now gets the BMW curved display along with brand's latest iDrive 8.5 system. Powertrain options are likely to remain the same as earlier. Prices could start at around 45 lakh, ex-showroom.
