As you can see in these latest spy images, the 2017 Hyundai Verna has gone through a complete makeover and now comes with an all-new face. In line with the company's latest design language, the new Verna gets some signature Hyundai elements like the new cascading grille, large sweptback headlamps, and an aggressive bumper design. With the new Verna, we will get a set of projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights along with circular foglamps enclosed in chrome surrounds. The other spy shot is of the new LED taillamps that have been inspired from to the Elantra. You get a very similar wraparound taillights cluster with triple pentagon shape pattern.

The Hyundai Verna follows the footsteps of its older sibling the Elantra in terms of design
Like the previous generation model, the new-gen Hyundai Verna is also built on the company's versatile Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy that is clearly noticeable from the new bolder profile and subtle character lines. The company has also released a couple of teaser images and a teaser video for the new-gen Verna, giving us a sneak-peek of the new design, the styling of the cabin and interior along with the exterior profile.

The tail lamps of the new-gen Verna take inspiration from the Elantra
The cabin of the new Hyundai Verna takes inspiration from the bigger Hyundai models and will get a host premium features. The driver oriented dashboard is expected to get a 7-inch touchscreen system on the higher variants that will support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with dual airbags and ABS as standard across all trims.
Powertrain wise nothing will change and the car will continue to feature the same set of 1.4-litre petrol, 1.6-litre petrol, 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel and 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engines. Power figures will also remain unchanged while transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic for the petrol models and 6-speed and a 4-speed automatic gearbox for the diesel models. The competition will continue with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City, Volkswagen Vento and the Skoda Rapid.
