Hyundai India is all set to finally unveil the long-awaited new-generation AH2 hatchback, or as we expect it to be called, the all-new reborn Hyundai Santro today. We'll be bringing you all the live updates from the unveiling event here, in addition to the official name, specification and much more about Hyundai's soon-to-be-launched small car. As of now, the car is expected to be launch in India later this month, possibly on October 23 or 24, and it will replace the Eon as Hyundai's entry-level model. Bookings for the car will commence from tomorrow, October 10, both across Hyundai showrooms in India and online.

Hyundai has been revealing details about the new Hyundai Santro or AH2 hatchback in bits and pieces for a while now. The company had announced that the car will be the first Hyundai model to get an AMT (automated manual transmission) system, and had also released its official design sketch. In addition to that, we recently shared a bunch of spy images revealing the actual production car, which was spotted at a dealership, and judging by that, we have to say the car look a lot premium than we had expected. Hyundai has also said that the production of the new AH2 or Santro will be focused on the Indian market, while exports will only begin in 2019.
