Austrian two-wheeler marque KTM recently displayed the new updated version of its popular entry level sports bike - the RC390 at the 2015 EICMA. After wooing its spectators over there, KTM India is now getting ready to bring the bike to the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.

Before its official debut in India, a test mule of the new RC 390 has been reportedly spotted in the country, which only indicates that the launch is nearer than we expected. Loaded with a number of new features and equipment, the new KTM RC 390 brings in a lot more firepower to the competition.

In terms of looks, the new KTM RC 390 is hardly any different from the outgoing model, but with a keener eye you would be able to notice the revised mirrors, the larger disc and new exhaust system. Instead of its standard underbelly unit, the updated KTM RC390 sports an all-new full-sized side mounted aluminium exhaust system, which helps it comply with Euro 4 emission norms. Apart from that the bike, as mentioned above, now gets a larger 320mm front disc, bigger mirrors and slightly redesigned faring.

As for the new equipment offered with the updated RC 390, the bike gets new sports slipper clutch, ride by wire technology and adjustable front brake and clutch levers along with Brembo breaks. KTM now also offers the bike with thicker seat cushion, a much needed addition in our opinion, considering the condition of our roads.

Powering the new KTM RC 390 will be the same 373.2cc liquid cooled, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine offered with the current model. The engine produces a maximum power of 43bhp at 9,000rpm and develops 35 Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
