Piaggio has unveiled a new special edition Vespa scooter, which has been designed in collaboration with Canadian pop star and music icon Justin Bieber. Turns out the "Baby" singer has always been a fan of Vespa scooters and the special edition has been designed to reflect his creativity on the model. The special edition is aptly called 'JUSTIN BIEBER X VESPA' and has been personally ideated and designed by the singer, the company said in its release. Bieber joins a special list of collaborators including Giorgio Armani, Christian Dior and Sean Wotherspoon who've given their special touch to Vespa scooters.

Speaking about the his passion for Vespa, Justin Bieber said, "The first time I rode a Vespa was somewhere in Europe, probably either London or Paris. I just remember seeing a Vespa and being like 'I want to ride one of those'. And I had such a great time, just the wind flying through my hair, the freedom. It was fun."
Adding further, he said, "I love Vespa, and to partner with such a classic brand is so cool. Being able to express myself, whether it's through art, music, visuals, or aesthetics, being able to create something from nothing - it's a part of me. Ultimately the goal in creating and designing is always to put your own unique spin on things."

Pre-bookings for the Justin Bieber X Vespa begin internationally on April 18, 2022
For his creation of the Vespa scooter, Bieber opts for a monochrome style that distinguishes the scooter. It's finished in white with all elements of the Vespa sprint including the saddle, grips to the spokes of the rims finished in the pristine shade. The brand logo and the flames drawn on the vehicle's body are also in the white tone.
The JUSTIN BIEBER X VESPA edition will be available with the 50, 125, and 150 cc engine options. There are no design changes and the instantly recognisable design remains the same. The model comes with the rectangular headlight, supports full colour multifunctional TFT display that will sync with smartphones. The scooter also comes with full-LED lights and 12-inch wheels.
