The Nissan Micra had both, 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option, and both were decent motors.
Pros:
- The Nissan Micra was one of the nicer-looking hatchbacks in its segment, and we feel it still looks quite stylish, at least the newer model. In fact, the 2017 facelift also came with features like - automatic headlamps with a follow-me-home function, rain-sensing wipers, and more.
- The Micra is quite a spacious hatchback and can comfortably seat four adults. In fact, based on the variant you get, the Micra also offer adjustable headrests at the rear.

While the Micra's cabin was certainly big on space, in terms of design and styling the layout looked quite dated. The fit and finish too were not the best.
Cons:
- The Nissan Micra has not been on sale in India since 2020, and while right now parts availability is not an issue, in the long run, maintenance might be an issue.
- While the Micra's cabin was certainly big on space, in terms of design and styling the layout looked quite dated. The fit and finish too were not the best.
- The Micra is not the most fuel-efficient car in its segment. While the manual might offer some decent numbers, the automatic version can even come down to single-digit numbers.
