Renault announced that it will unveil a production-bound premium model at the Paris Motor Show . The car will be the first model of a new sub-brand called Initiale Paris that was created by former Renault COO Carlos Tavares.
The details of the car are kept under wraps but promises to reveal details soon. "We've been rebuilding a more premium feel in a certain number of limited vehicles, approaching it on technologies and in segments that we control and can understand. You'll get a good example of that in the Paris show in October," explained Renault CFO Dominique Thormann.
The Initiale Paris sub-brand will include upmarket versions of other cars from the Renault stable like the Laguna sedan and the Captur. Renault however will have its share of rivals, the Citroen DS sub-brand and even Ford's upmarket trim level called Vignale. We will bring you all the details soon.
