Recently in Mumbai, a Huracan bumped into a rickshaw - evidence of how easy it is to lose control of a supercar. Behind the wheel was the wife of a local MLA, Narendra Mehta and the Huracan hit the rickshaw before coming to a halt. The car was delivered recently to the owner and this was its first time out on the road. The Huracan is quite a car and furthers the legacy of the brand, after the much successful Gallardo. 1) The Huracan replaced the aging Gallardo, which was Lamborghini's most popular model.

2) The Huracan made its global debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in March 2014.

3) It has a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, which punches out 610bhp at 8250 rpm and develops peak torque of 560Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine is produced at Audi's Gyor, Hungary, engine plant, alongside the power plant that goes into the Audi R8.

4) The supercar is capable of going from 0-100km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

5) The top speed of the Huracan stands at 325km/h, which is electronically limited.

6) Lamborghini also launched a Spyder and rear-wheel drive version of the Huracan, in India.

7) 'Huracan' is Spanish for hurricane and is the name of a fighting bull from 1879. It's pronounced ooo-rah-khan.

8) The company has sold 55 units of the Huracan and Aventador combined, in India, in 2015.

9) The Huracan returns a fuel economy figure of 6.85 kmpl.

10) The Huracan faces fierce competition from the likes of the Audi R8 V10, Mercedes-AMG GT and the BMW i8.
