Test For Two-Wheeler Licences: All You Need To Know

Any applicant who is above 16 can apply for the learner's licence. However, the applicants must pass the written tests in order to get the licence. The validity of the learner's licence is for only six months. After waiting for at least one month, one can apply for a two-wheeler's driving licence.

To avoid standing in the queue for hours, one can apply for the online test. You just need to visit the official website and get a schedule for the test. The tests are mainly multiple-choice questions based on basic knowledge of road rules and signal rules.

Tracking the test for the two-wheeler licence
After successfully submitting the form, you will receive the learner's licence, and not long after that once you can apply for the driver's licence. The application process for both cases is almost the same, but the actual test comes with versatile questions.
During the two-wheeler test, the applicant will have to drive around the track in the shape of 8. For other rounds, applicants are tested for their driving skills, knowledge of hand signals, and indicators.

If you fail to pass the test, the office will allow you to retake the test after a week later. In the meantime, you can apply for the two-wheeler driving licence 30 days after the issue date of the learner's licence. However, an applicant can get only three chances to pass the test. This requirement may be different from one state to another.

- Pan card/ Aadhar card/ voter card
- Rent agreement and utility bills.
- Passport size photograph
