Tork T6X To Be Launched As Tork Kratos; Launch Details Revealed

- The Tork Kratos is expected to have a top speed of 100 kmph

Tork Motors has announced that its much-awaited, state-of-the-art electric motorcycle T6X, has been renamed as the Tork Kratos, and will be launched towards the end of January 2022. According to a statement from the company, the 'made in India' smart electric motorcycle is a product of six years of extensive research and development. The Kratos will be powered by the company's proprietary lithium-ion battery pack with advanced axial flux motor for highest peak power and range, Tork Motors added, without divulging any technical specifications or output of the Kratos.

The Tork T6X will be launched in late January 2022, and the production model will be called the Tork Kratos.

The Kratos will feature Tork Motors' signature TIROS (Tork Intuitive Response Operating System), an intelligent system that is claimed to offer an unparalleled riding experience for urban commuters. The TIROS will provide technical analysis, power management, real-time power consumption, data compilation on every ride, as well as range forecasts to the rider. The Kratos is equipped with fast charging capabilities and 4G telemetry for data and service support.

The Tork Kratos has been described as India's first electric motorcycle
Kapil Shelke, CEO & Founder of Tork Motors said, "After years of extensive research and iterations, we are all set to showcase the India's first electric motorcycle - KRATOS. As the name indicates, KRATOS is personification of strength and power. It's not only renamed as KRATOS but developed entirely as a brand-new motorcycle than T6X with notable redesigned frame and styling achieved by rigorous testing with internal and external teams."

The Tork T6X was first unveiled in 2016. The production model, to be called the Tork Kratos, will be finally launched in January 2022.
According to Tork Motors, the Kratos has improved ergonomics, LED headlight, taillight, and a new version of split seat for making city rides comfortable. The larger battery pack provides additional range, the company said, without being specific, and has "faster charging ability." Tork Motors has filed more than 50 patents and designs under IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) to bolster its R&D and cutting-edge technology since its inception. According to Tork Motors, right after the launch, customers can avail online booking facilities right after the electric scooter.
