Triumph Street Triple RS India Launch: Highlights
Highlights
Triumph will launch the top-spec model of its popular naked middleweight motorcycle, the Street Triple RS today. The British bike manufacturer had already launched the Street Triple S earlier this year. The engine on the Street Triple RS has been tuned to deliver 121 bhp and 77 Nm, which is around 10 bhp more than the Street Triple S. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox which has a slip-assisted clutch for quick gearshifts. In order to manage the power better, the RS also gets top-shelf Brembo brakes and better suspension in Showa big piston forks and an Ohlins monoshock.

The Street Triple RS also gets more features in terms of electronics. There is 5-inch TFT full-colour instrumentation. The bike also gets ride-by-wire, five riding modes which are road, rain, sport, track and individual. Apart from this, there is ABS and traction control as well. The rider can program the instrument display in two different themes and three different styles. The Street Triple RS will also get different colour combinations than the standard Street Triple S, which will most probably be the matt silver ice and standard black.
