Volkswagen's Gujarat Dealership Enters Asia Book Of Records For Maximum Deliveries Of The Virtus

A Volkswagen dealership in Gujarat owned by Group Landmark has made it to the Asia Book of Records (ABR) and India Book of Records (IBR) for maximum number of deliveries of a single model by a dealer in a single day. ABR and IBR officials handed over the certificate for the record to the dealership. Deliveries of the new Volkswagen Virtus across India began last month and on the first day itself the company delivered over 165 units of the all new sedan across Gujarat.

Commenting on the achievement, Sanjay Thakker, Chairman and Founder, Group Landmark said, "We are absolutely thrilled to receive this honour from Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records. The achievement also serves to demonstrate the phenomenal response that the new Volkswagen sedan has received from customers across Gujarat."

Visual highlights on the Virtus include - LED headlights with LED DRLs, chrome exterior accents and 16-inch ‘Razor' alloy wheels.
The new Volkswagen Virtus had entered the India Book of Records last month as well after a single VW dealer in Kerala delivered 150 units of the compact sedan in a single day. The record was awarded to EVM Motors & Vehicles in Kerala, for delivering the maximum number of single model sedans in a day by any dealership across India. The car was launched in India on June 9, and the company has been carrying out mega delivery programmes across India for the Virtus.
