VW Virtus Enters India Book Of Records After Kerala Dealer Delivers 150 Units In A Single Day

- The record has been awarded to EVM Motors & Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. in Kerala

The new Volkswagen Virtus has entered the India Book of Records after a single VW dealer in Kerala delivered 150 units of the compact sedan in a single day. The record has been awarded to EVM Motors & Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. in Kerala, for delivering the maximum number of single model sedans in a day by any dealership across India. The car was launched in India on June 9, and the company has been carrying out mega delivery programmes across India for the Virtus.

The record has been awarded to EVM Motors & Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. in Kerala, for delivering the maximum number of single model sedans in a day by any dealership across India.

The Volkswagen Virtus is priced from Rs. 11.22 lakh to Rs. 17.92 lakh and comes in two options - Dynamic Line and Performance Line
At the time of the car's launch, Volkswagen announced that it had received over 4000 pre-orders for the Virtus since the company opened pre-bookings on March 8, 2022. And In Kerala alone, more than 200 Volkswagen Virtus sedans have been delivered to customers since its launch. These include deliveries done by both EVM Motors & Vehicles India Pvt. Ltd. and Phoenix Cars Pvt. Ltd.

The Volkswagen Virtus is priced from Rs. 11.22 lakh to Rs. 17.92 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The compact sedan is offered with two turbo petrol engines - a 1.0-litre TSI and a 1.5-litre TSI unit, and while the former comes with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission, the latter gets a DCT automatic as standard. The Virtus comes with several smart features as well like LED lighting, sporty alloys, wireless charger, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, ventilated front seats, a sunroof and much more.
