BMW India launches the M6 Gran Coupe for Rs. 1.75crore

BMW India has launched the 2014 M6 Gran Coupe at Rs. 1,75,40,000 crore pan India. We told you about the M6 launch last month and the petrol-powered performance oriented variant of the 6 Series Gran Coupe which is also now the Flagship of the M series is finally here.
The M6 Gran Coupe gets the familiar looking M kidney grille and the dual tone provided on the alloy wheels looks simply brilliant. The roof is all carbon fibre, while the interiors, though top-notch, are no different than the other BMW's on sale in India.
But the biggest change is under the hood. The BMW M6 Gran Coupe gets a two twin-scroll 4.4-litre V8 engine which churns out a hefty 560bhp and 680Nm torques. The engine comes mated to a 7-speed M-dual clutch transmission which ensures fast shifts. BMW has also offered paddle shifts behind the steering wheel for people like me who want to take matters into their own hands.
BMW will also offer a Competition Package with the M6 Gran Coupe and this means more power at your disposal - a whole 575bhp at that. It helps the M6 Gran Coupe to go from a standstill to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds claims BMW. The M6 Gran Coupe comes with Ecopro, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ modes which change the mood of the car at the touch of a button.
BMW is bringing cars that cater to the general public but also to the enthusiasts in India. There are many more in the pipeline and we can't wait to see what's in stored.
