Highlights

The inaugural day of the Delhi Auto Expo started with a bang, as the much anticipated SX4 S-Cross and the Ciaz concepts were unveiled. While the Ciaz will be the successor of the existing SX4, the SX4 S-Cross will be the crossover version of the SX4.

The vehicle being put up on display at the Indian Auto Expo, has 4WD (Four Wheel Drive), with four driving modes on offer for utmost performance. The large headlamps, new chrome front grille, fog lamps integrated in chrome shell, curvy hood and sporty aluminium roof rails give it quite an attractive front fascia. The big alloy wheels, chrome handle and wing mirrors with turn indicators add more to its overall appearance.

The new SX4 S-Cross carries the same premium grace inside as well. The dashboard is neat yet very stylish. What adds more to its comfort level is the good quality upholstery. The new S-Cross is expected to be powered with two engines: a Fiat sourced 1.3-litre Multi-jet diesel engine and a 1.6-litre petrol unit. However, the company hasn't officially revealed the engine specs of the car. Internationally, the car is available with a 1.6-litre petrol and Fiat sourced 1.6-litre Multijet diesel engine options, capable of churning out a maximum power output of 120PS, 156Nm and 120PS and 320Nm, respectively.
