New Hyundai i20's Sales Continue to Shine Bright

Launched in August 2014, the new Hyundai i20 has proven to be a really successful car for the Korean automaker in India. Despite being more expensive than the old model, the new version is selling almost double the units than its predecessor; and that is possibly because of more features it offers at this price point.
As against 4643 units sold in November 2013, the company has sold a total of 10,500 units in corresponding month this year. Other top-sellers for the company are Grand i10, Xcent and Verna. The cumulative sales for Hyundai in November 2014 stood at 54,011 units, recoding a an year-on-year growth of 8.7 percent.

Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. VP- Sales and Marketing, HMIL said, "Hyundai with a volume of 35,511 units indicate strong demand for Hyundai models, giving growth month after month bettering the industry slow growth. The strong investment of launching four new products in a years' time has resulted in this growth.
