Piaggio Launches Vespa Elegante at Rs. 78,999

Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. launched a limited edition Vespa, Vespa Elegante, at Rs. 78,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company said the Vespa Elegante is for the youth who seek a differentiated premium product offering.
In terms of changes from its standard version, Vespa Elegante gets a chrome grill, colour coordinated leather finished twin seats , an all-round chrome guard kit alongwith a front bumper guard, 'Elegante' badging, and a colour coordinated limited edition helmet.
It will be offered in two new metallic colors, namely, Marrone Crete Senesi and Bianco Perla. Launched specially for the festive season, Piaggio stated that it hopes to satisfy the aspirational needs of the discerning Vespa enthusiast with this special edition. It is powered by a 125cc 3 valve high efficiency engine, and sports disc brakes, tubeless tyres and alloy combination wheels as standard provisions.
Speaking at the launch, Mr Ravi Chopra, Chairman and Managing Director, Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited (India) said, "Piaggio is delighted to offer the stylish limited edition Vespa Elegante for its Indian fans. Piaggio will showcase the Vespa Elegante via special previews across several cities, including Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Furthermore, the company also announced its plans to introduce more such distinctive offerings at regular intervals.
