Porsche has introduced a 911 S Martini Racing Edition to celebrate its Le Mans return. Porsche returns to the Le Mans scene a 16-year hiatus and what better way to celebrate this monumental achievement than coming out with a special Martini Racing Edition of the 911 S.
Porsche will be making the car available only in a white or black body paint matched with Martini's traditional blue-red colour scheme on the roof, rear wing, boot lid and sides. It also receives an Aerokit Cup front apron and fixed rear spoiler.
Inside, the Porsche comes fitted with stainless steel door sill panels with "911 Carrera S - Martini Racing Edition" illuminated lettering and gets a standard Sport Chrono package and a sport steering wheel. The special edition also comes with Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation module, black leather-wrapped electric sport seats, tachometer with black gauge and a Bose audio system.
Under the hood, the 911 S gets the familiar flat-six 4.8-litre engine which punches out 400bhp and power is sent to all the wheels via a PDK gearbox. The 911 S hence can sprint from 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds when the Sport Plus button is activated.
Only 80 units of this edition will be made and sales of the 911 S Martini Racing Edition will commence from this month in Europe, followed later this year by China, Japan and Latin America.
