Suzuki Swift SZ-L special edition launched in UK

Japanese carmaker Suzuki has launched a special edition Swift SZ-L in the UK. Priced at £10,899 (approximately Rs 11.26 lakh) for the three door model and £11,316 (approximately Rs 11.70 lakh) for the five door model, the special edition will go on sale from 1st March and will be available on the VAT free promotion until 31st March. Only 500 such models will be sold across the UK.
The special edition Suzuki Swift SZ-L is based on the 1.2-litre SZ3, but with additional equipments, which make it a more feature rich car. Along with carrying all the standard features offered on the SZ3 such as seven airbags, ESP, LED daytime running lights, cruise control etc, the special edition has received changes both inside and out.
On the outside, the SZ-L gets two-tone metallic paintwork as standard; in either Boost Blue or Cosmic Black body colours with contrasting cool white roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors. While inside the cabin, the steering wheel, gear gaiter and seats get silver stitching and unique fabric design.
The Suzuki SZ-L derives its power from a 1.2-litre dual VVT petrol mill, which is capable of producing a maximum power output of 92.7bhp and 118Nm of peak torque. With a claimed mileage of around 24kmpl, the car is already one of the most frugal cars of its segment there.
