The updated MG ZS EV was introduced in the country earlier this year in February. The automaker kick-started the year 2021 on a positive note by launching the Hector facelift, followed by the updated ZS EV. It is the only electric offering from the Chinese-owned British carmaker for the Indian market. The all-electric SUV comes in two trims - Excite and Exclusive. While the former is priced at Rs. 20.99 lakh, the latter gets a price tag of Rs.24.18 lakh (All prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
Here are the top 5 highlights of the MG ZS EV:

1. Visually, the 2021 MG ZS EV look identical to its predecessor. It sports a deep concave grille featuring chrome accents, London-eye projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail lights, windmill inspired 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, roof rails, rear spoiler, ORVMs with side indicators, and more.

2. Dimension-wise, the SUV measures 4314 mm in length, 1809 mm in width, and 1620 mm in height, while the wheelbase stands at 2585 mm. The company has increased the ground clearance to 177 mm, and the battery placement has been raised by 205 mm.

3. On the inside, it comes with an all-black interior along with a leather dashboard, leather seats and chrome-finished door handles. There's also an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with MG's i-Smart EV 2.0 system.

4. The SUV also gets three driving modes, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing front wiper, cruise control, auto headlamps, power-adjustable driver seat, push-button start-stop with smart entry, PM filter, six airbags, ABS, brake assist, ESC, electric parking brake, tyre pressure monitor, ISOFIX mounts, hill start assist, hill descent control, rear camera, and more.

5. Mechanically, the MG ZS EV continues to get the same 44.5 kWh Hi-Tech battery pack that powers a permanent magnet synchronous motor. It develops 141 bhp and 353 Nm of peak torque. The electric SUV is claimed to offer a maximum range of up to 419 km when fully charged.
