Triumph Motorcycles Inaugurates Dealership in Delhi

Triumph Motorcycles, the British bikemaker, inaugurated its dealership in Delhi today. With this new dealership, Triumph now has a total of seven dealerships across the country. Chennai will be the next city to get a Triumph dealership, which is also set to be inaugurated this month.
The company received 30 bookings even before the Delhi store opened, taking the overall booking numbers to 450 across India, which we believe is a good start for a company that is fairly new and deals mainly in high-end bikes.
Triumph India began its operations in November 2013 and has managed to establish its presence in most major Indian cities, namely, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Banglore, Ahemdabad and Delhi, within a very short span of time. The company had earlier shared its plans to open 9 dealerships in the first phase of expansion, so, expect the remaining 3 dealerships soon.
Located at Shop No. 6, 7, Vasant Square Mall, Vasant Kunj, Delhi, the new dealership will offer its entire range for sale. Along with catering to the northern states, the new dealership will also tend to a handful of eastern states. The company has already set up a completely-knocked down (CKD) facility in Haryana to ensure timely delivery of products.
Of the total 10 models that Triumph sells in India, four are imported as completely built units (CBUs) and six are brought in as CKD units and then assembled at its facility in Manesar, Haryana. Triumph's existing range in India starts with the Bonneville, which is priced at Rs 5.7 lakh. The company might roll out the Daytona 250cc bike, which will be the most affordable Triumph bike in India, later this year.
