Volvo Introduces the Sporty S60 and XC60 R-Design Varaints

Volvo has introduced the all-new S60 and XC60 R-Design in India. It says that both the cars have been designed with true sports-car feel and feature a specially developed chassis to enhance driving experience. The chassis has sharpened the steering, the agility and the solid overall impression.
Volvo has targeted the younger audience with the new R-Design, which features a redesigned front-end. The R-Design features a Tech Matte Black grille with an R-Design emblem and high gloss black stripes. The DRL lights in the outer corners reinforce the low, road-hugging impression. The Ixion wheel is available in a redesigned 18-inch version for both, S60 and XC60.
"The all-new S60 and XC60 are our sportiest models ever. With R-Design they are even sharper. They're the natural choice for true connoisseurs," says Magnus Jonsson, Senior Vice President Product Development, Volvo Cars.

Inside, you get the new sport seat, a standard provision in the R-Design cars. There is also a unique three-spoke design, leather-covered R-Design steering wheel that adds to the sporty looks. The Adaptive Digital Display features the option to switch between three layouts with different configuration and functionality - Elegance, Eco and Performance.
So, what about the engines then? The R-Design models can be combined with all the engines available for the standard versions. Both variants are equipped with in-line 4 cylinder, turbodiesel, 2-litre engines that produces 181bhp and 400Nm torque.
The Volvo S60 & XC60 R-Design are the top-of-the-line variants in the respective model range and are also equipped with the new D4 diesel engine. There's lots of standard equipment like the new navigation system, gear-shift paddles, premium sound system, heated front seats, sunroof, personal car communicator, rear parking camera, remote control & air quality system.
