The Belta compact sedan is expected to be another model to come to India form the Maruti-Toyota partnership. Already on sale in select global markets, the Belta is the Toyota badged-engineered version of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. In terms of styling the Belta is almost exactly alike to the Ciaz with the notable changes being a tweaked grille and Toyota badging on the nose and tail. The cabin too is more or less unchanged with top variants expected to pack in kit such as a touchscreen infotainment system, auto climate control and LED headlamps. Coming to the engine, the Belta will share the same 1.5-litre petrol engine as the Ciaz paired with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
