Jaguar launched XE Facelift in 2020 with a few cosmetic changes and an extra sporty stance. The price of the base model starts from Rs. 44.98 lakh while the top model is priced at Rs. 46.32 lakh. XE Facelift is available in both diesel and petrol variants. 2020 Jaguar XE Facelift has got a larger and revised mesh grille, J-blade LED DRLs,12mm slimmer headlamps, larger air intakes on the bumper, sharp LED tail lamps, extra stylish alloy wheel, Satin Dark Grey wheels, and solid or metallic exterior paints added a cosmetic change on the exterior look.
The interior underwent extensive upgrades like a dual touchscreen system for the centre console, connectivity options and much more, Touch Pro Duo infotainment system including 10.2 inch top screen with navigation, and the lower screen maintains automatic climate control system along with pull-push knobs. L-Pace Multi-Functional steering wheel along with hidden-until-lit buttons, F-Type and E-Pace pistol grip gear selector, leather upholstery, smartphone connectivity including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, hill assist, and lane-keep assist are provided for customer comfort.
The 2.0 L Turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine produces a max power of 247 bhp @ 5500 rpm and a max torque of 365 Nm @ 1500 - 4000 rpm. The 2.0 L Turbocharged four-cylinder diesel produces 178 bhp @ 4000 rpm of max power and 430 Nm @ 1750 - 2500 rpm of peak torque. Both the fuel engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and meet the upcoming BS6 regulations. The top speed is 250kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 6.5 seconds. The energy capacity is 1997cc.
The dimension of the sedan includes 1416mm height, 4691mm length, 1850mm width with folded mirrors, 2075mm width with mirrors out, 2835mm wheelbase, and 125mm Standard ride height. According to the reviews, All Surface Progress Control, sophisticated front and rear suspension systems, Comfort, Dynamic, JaguarDrive Control covering ECO, Rain, Snow and Ice driving modes, and Electric Power Assisted Steering, gives the vehicle an outstanding driving control and better performance. For safety purposes, Jaguar has introduced Cruise Control and Speed Limiter, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Condition Monitor, Park Assist, Rear Camera and 360-degree Parking Aid. The variants of 2020 Jaguar XE Facelift are - XE SE and XE S available for both petrol and diesel-powered engines. This 5 seater sedan is available in six colour variants - Fuji White, Firenze Red Metallic, Caldera Red, Portofino Blue Metallic, Santorini Black Metallic and Eiger Grey Metallic,. The competitors of this Sedan by Jaguar are BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4.
