Simple Energy, a Bengaluru-based electric vehicle start-up, has launched its first electric scooter, the Simple One, priced at Rs. 109,999 lakh (Ex-showroom). The Simple One has a 4.8 kWh lithium-ion battery offering a maximum claimed range of 236 km, with normal claimed range of 203 km in Eco mode, which is the highest claimed range on an electric two-wheeler in India. Top speed is claimed at 105 kmph, with acceleration of 0 to 40 kmph claimed in just 2.9 seconds. The Simple One is available for pre-order starting today at ₹ 1,947. ➡️The company will be launching operations in 75 cities across 13 states in the next few months and intends to launch operations across 175 cities over the next year. ➡️Customers from across India can pre-order the Simple One from August 15, 2021. The company hasn't announced when deliveries will begin from customers who book the Simple One.
