2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour Deliveries Commence In India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has commenced deliveries of its flagship model, the 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour in India. Deliveries of the Gold Wing Tour have begun through HMSI's premium retail outlets, the Honda BigWing Topline in Gurugram in Haryana, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Indore. The first lot of the 2021 Honda Gold Wing, which is imported as a completely built unit (CBU) was sold out within just 24 hours of bookings being announced in India. So far, HMSI has not announced bookings for a second batch of the Gold Wing Tour in India.

Speaking on the deliveries of the 2021 Gold Wing Tour, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Director - Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., said, "The 2021 Gold Wing Tour is a one-of-a kind premium touring motorcycle many aspire to own across the globe. It comes equipped with top features providing both comfort and luxury. The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour is now more expensive by a hefty Rs. 10 lakh over its predecessor
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour is available in two variants, one with manual transmission, priced at Rs. 37.20 lakh (Ex-showroom), and the top-spec DCT with airbag variant, priced at Rs. 39.16 lakh (Ex-showroom). The manual transmission variant is available in a Pearl Glare White colour option, while the DCT variant is available in Gunmetal Black Metallic & Matt Morion Black colour option.

The 2021 Honda Gold Wing is available in 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DTC)
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour is powered by a 1,833 cc, liquid-cooled, flat-six , 24-valve engine which produces 124.7 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm. The motorcycle comes equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), Idling Stop (on the DCT option), Hill Start Assist (HSA). There are four riding modes, Tour, Sport, Rain and Econ.

The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and also gets Bluetooth connectivity.
The new Honda Gold Wing Tour also received visual upgrades over the older model. This includes sharper styling, all-LED lighting, and new alloys. The bike also gets revised pillion seat for added comfort and a bigger top box. The Gold Wing is underpinned by a die-cast, aluminium frame, and a double-wishbone front suspension alongwith a preload-adjustable pro-link monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are performed by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear with Combined Braking System.
