Auto Expo 2018: Kia SP SUV Concept Leaked - Exclusive Pictures

Kia is one of the biggest brand showcases at the Indian Auto Expo. The new automotive entrant will be showcasing its complete range including the fire-breathing Stinger Sport sedan but the main focus at the Kia stall will be the global debut of the all-new SP SUV concept. And here are some exclusive behind the scenes pictures that have been sent to us by one of our viewers. The new Kia SUV does have a slight resemblance to the likes of the Hyundai Creta from the rear but it also has a lot of design similarities to the likes of some of the other SUVs in the Kia range - like the current generation Sportage for instance.

While Kia does have a fair few SUVs and crossovers in its range, this new SP Concept which has made its global debut in India also shows the direction that the new Korean auto brand (in India) will take for some of its first new products. And it is a sensible move considering the fact that the SUV segment in India is the fastest growing and most popular along with the fact that the new SUV will most likely share its guts with the likes of the Creta.
The SP Concept is also similar in terms of overall design to some of the cars design prototypes that Kia showcased a few years ago and has a very distinct Kia design language - especially up front with the family grille. At the same time though, the SP concept brings about a new direction in design with the large and sharp LED headlamps. The SP Concept also features a very distinct set of large wheels, which of course will not make it to production along with a slightly raked roofline and a glasshouse that tapers around the C-Pillar. All said and done though, the SP Concept is certainly a looker and will most certainly be one of the many concepts to look forward to at the 2018 Auto Expo.
