Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS (Adventure Sport) Launching On April 14, 2015

Bajaj Auto that recently launched the Pulsar RS 200 in the Indian market, is now planning to launch another all new model under its Pulsar range on April 14, 2015. The bike this time will be the Pulsar 200 AS (Adventure Sport), which is based on the Pulsar 200 NS.

The similar bike will also be launched in several international markets including Indonesia where it had made its appearance in January 2015. With the Pulsar AS 200, the company will target buyers who are looking for affordable adventure sport bike.

As mentioned before, the AS 200 is based on the Pulsar 200 NS and features larger windshield than the 200 NS. It also features a semi-fairing merged into the tank and a big head-lamp with projector. The vehicle's front seems inspired from the Discover 150F, whereas rest of the styling looks similar to that of the 200 NS. It features NS-inspired rear section, swing arm, and seat positioning.

Moreover, the Pulsar 200 AS derives its power from the same engine, 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, that also powers the 200 NS. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, this engine is good for 23bhp and 18.3Nm.
