BMW F 450 GS Production Begins At TVS Plant

- First BMW F 450 GS rolls out of TVS plant

TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad have announced the beginning of production of the made-in-India BMW F 450 GS that was showcased at the EICMA 2025 show in Milan, Italy. Rolling out the BMW F 450 GS from the TVS Motor Company manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, the two companies also announced a landmark achievement of 200,000 units produced under their long-term partnership.

Announcing the milestone, the two companies released a joint statement highlighting the success of the Indo-German collaboration, which has delivered motorcycles to customers worldwide since the strategic alliance was formed in 2013. The 310 cc common platform models developed under the partnership are delivered across 100 markets globally.
"Today, as we celebrate the 200,000 unit milestone, we also mark the dawn of a new era with the roll out of BMW F 450 GS that was recently showcased at EICMA 2025. The newly introduced BMW F 450 GS, highlights TVS Motor’s state-of-the-art manufacturing excellence in producing high-end motorcycles,” said KN Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO, TVS Motor Company.

The new BMW F 450 GS with a parallel-twin engine is the new product being developed under the strategic alliance, manufactured in India by TVS Motor Company. With the new chapter already underway, TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad are driving forward investments in new platforms and future-ready technologies.
According to a joint statement by the two companies, the collaborative R&D efforts are geared towards meeting evolving customer needs across urban and premium mobility, ensuring that upcoming products continue the legacy of quality, performance and innovation that defines the TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad alliance.
