BMW M5 30th Anniversary Edition Revealed

We told you about BMW revealing the '30 Jahre M5' soon and also showed you the leaked pictures. BMW has fully revealed the '30 Jahre M5' special edition and oh it's gorgeous.
The Bavarian marque is celebrating the M5's 30th anniversary through a limited model that will be built in only 300 examples. As we said yesterday, all these units will wear an Individual Frozen Dark Silver paint with dark chrome accents.
The two-toned 20-inch alloys are wrapped around in 265/35 ZR20 front and 295/30 ZR20 rear tyres while the cabin is covered in a combination of Merino leather and Alcantara with special badging and aluminium inserts.
The BMW 30 Jahre M5 comes with the Competition Package which is optional on the regular M5. So, what you get is a 10mm lowered suspension, reprogrammed M Dynamic Mode and stiffer anti-sway bars.
Well of course all this without a powerful engine is useless and the M5 gets the 4.4-litre turbo V8 which churns out 600bhp and 700Nm of torques (40bhp and 20Nm more than the normal M5). The 1870kg car can now sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds thanks to the standard dual-clutch seven-speed DCT, making it 0.4 seconds quicker than the regular M5.
BMW has limited the top speed to 250 km/h but with the optional M Driver's Package the electronic limiter comes into play at 305 km/h.
