BMW Motorrad Bags 1000 Bookings For The G 310 RR

In less than two months since bookings commenced on June 10, BMW has racked up 1000 bookings for the G 310 RR motorcycle. The new motorcycle in BMW's 310 cc lineup is based on the TVS Apache RR 310. The bike was launched on July 15 and is manufactured at the TVS plant in Hosur. The BMW G 310 RR comes with a price tag of Rs. 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry level variant, and the top end RR Style variant costs Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Only the RR Style variant offers BMW's Livery.
BMW has given the G 310 RR a few cosmetic updates over the TVS Apache RR 310. It gets BMW-specific colours and graphics on the top end variant, bringing its looks more in line with BMW Motorrad's larger supersport motorcycles. The bike gets a familiar 313 cc, single-cylinder engine which powers the G 310 GS, G 310 R, and the Apache RR 310. The motor puts out 34 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 7,700 rpm, and is paired to a six-speed gearbox. It is also equipped with ride modes and dual-channel ABS among others.
