BMW Motorrad To Showcase 2 New Bikes At The 2016 Intermot Motorcycle Show

- BMW will showcase 2 new models along with its existing products updated
- A Ducati Diavel rival could be showcased at Intermot from BMW Motorrad
- A G 310 R based adventure motorcycle is also on the cards from BMW
BMW Motorrad recently presented the R Nine T Scrambler and the all-new G 310 R to motorcycling markets across the world. Many European the American automotive publications have already ridden the BMW G 310 R which has been manufactured at the TVS Plant in Hosur, near Bengaluru. But unfortunately, the motorcycle will only be launched towards the beginning of next year in India. Having said that, BMW Motorrad will continue with its new product offering and the company has officially announced that it will be showcasing two all-new products at the upcoming 2016 Intermot Motorcycle Show along with a range of products that have undergone extensive revisions including the evergreen BMW R1200 GS.
Apart from the R nine T Scrambler, there are two more variants of the R nine T, which are named 'Pure and 'Racer' will be showcased one by one at Intermot and EICMA Motorcycle Shows. The other motorcycle that is rumoured to be revealed at Intermot will be a competitor of sorts to the Ducati XDiavel. Whoa! We are already salivating at the very thought of that.

BMW G310R
Apart from these models, BMW Motorrad is already working on two derivatives of the G 310 R. One of these will be the (rumoured, again) an ADV version of the 313cc BMW motorcycle while there is absolutely no word about the other. Apart from these, BMW Motorrad will also showcase its rider equipment collection for the new season which includes helmets, jackets and other such apparel and gear.
We believe BMW will use the EICMA Motorcycle Show, which will be held in November, to showcase the 'GS 310 R'. And, we also believe that this particular model will make it to India in the next couple of years at the most. But we would like BMW Motorrad to hurry because at present, there is just affordable ADV in India, which is the Royal Enfield Himalayan. It will be great to see RE and BMW Motorrad slug it out in this particular segment. Till, we can only wait with bated breaths.
