Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer Launched In India At Rs. 9.32 Lakh


- The Cafe Racer shares the same engine with the other Scrambler models
- The 803 cc L-twin engine makes 73 bhp, 67 Nm
- Ducati now has four different Scrambler variants on sale in India
Ducati India has launched the Scrambler Cafe Racer at Rs. 9,32,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Scrambler Cafe Racer is based on the standard Ducati Scrambler and follows the cafe racer design language with cosmetic updates. The Scrambler Cafe Racer is also powered by the same engine - the 803 cc, L-twin engine makes 73 bhp at 8,250 rpm and peak torque of 67 Nm at 5,750 rpm. Ducati now has four variants of the Scrambler series on sale in India - the Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Classic, Scrambler Desert Sled, and the Scrambler Cafe Racer.

The Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer borrows the same basic design language of the standard Ducati Scrambler, but with a sporty riding position, thanks to clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, Termignoni exhaust with dual tailpipes , black anodized aluminium cover and a dedicated seat featuring a rear seat cowl for the passenger section. The Scrambler Cafe Racer has 17-inch cast aluminium wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres and a Brembo braking system featuring Bosch 9.1 MP ABS with a pressure sensor. The front brake pump is radial-type promising sportbike braking performance.

Ducati also offers a range of accessories and apparel and the Scrambler Cafe Racer is available in Black Coffee shade with black frame and gold wheels across Ducati dealerships in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad and Kochi. Ducati's last launch in India was also under the Scrambler brand, when the Scrambler Desert Sled was launched last month, also at Rs. 9.32 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
