F1: McLaren Honda Hits the Track

Ever since we heard McLaren and Honda will team up in 2015, we have waited with bated breath to see what this baby would look like. We recently had our wish fulfilled when the McLaren Honda F1 car got up and revving at Silverstone.
The test, which was allowed under F1 regulations because it was for 'filming' and with promotional Pirelli tyres, took place behind closed doors. However, Honda tweeted a picture of its test driver Oliver Turvey taking out the MP4-29H for a spin. The engine cover had 'Honda' written on it, while the picture's description on Twitter read read 'First ever shot of the McLaren Honda. Start of a new era!'.
It is likely to be tested in earnest at the post-race Abu Dhabi test. With Fernando Alonso already onboard, it will be interesting to see who fills the other seat.
