Festive Season 2016: Options For Cars and Bikes With Long Waiting Period

- The Vitara Brezza has highest amount of waiting period among cars
- Manufacturers and dealers are offering several festive discounts
- Royal Enfield's Classic 350 comes with a waiting period of up to 3 months
The festive season is here and several car manufacturers and dealerships have started offering lucrative discounts and schemes on vehicles. While most of the car or motorcycle buyers will have their eye on the top-sellers in the market, waiting periods are a major concern for them considering such popular vehicles will take months to get delivered. For instance, Maruti Suzuki's Vitara Brezza or Royal Enfield's Classic range commands a waiting period that goes up to 10 months and 3 months respectively. While there are some who will wait out such long waiting period to get their hands on their desired vehicle, there are many who look for smart options that not only come with lesser waiting period but also make a much better package. What we have put together here is a list of popular cars and bikes with obnoxiously long waiting period and similar options that are both easily available and attractively priced.
Cars:
1) Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
Options: Ford EcoSport or Mahindra TUV300

Maruti Suzuki's Vitara Brezza currently commands a waiting period of 5 to 8 months for the single colour option and 10 to 12 months for dual tone trim depending on the colour. So, if you are among those who don't want to wait almost a year for the Vitara Brezza than you should probably look into the Ford EcoSport or Mahindra TUV300.

Both the models are sub-compact SUVs like the Vitara Brezza and waiting period for these cars are way less. The EcoSport comes with a waiting period 15 days to 1 month and if the desired model is in stock then it will take 5-7 days. It also comes in a special edition model which, if opted for, could take a week or so more. Similarly, the TUV300 takes right about three to five weeks to get delivered and just a week if the desired model is in stock. If it's a made-to-order colour with additional accessories than it might increase the waiting period by a couple of weeks.

The Mahindra TUV300 comes with offers like - 5 Year Warranty + Rs. 10,000 worth accessories + an exchange bonus of Rs. 25,000 + loyalty bonus of Rs. 10,000, making it the most practical choice among all three. The Ecosport also gets an acessory package worth Rs 15,000.
